Featured Project : Annapolis Area Renovation

EMDB managed every aspect of this major kitchen/living/dining room renovation project, from working with the client to develop design options to overseeing construction to fine-tuning the final product.  This first floor renovation had a broad scope of work that included removing structural and mechanical walls between the kitchen and dining rooms, with the goal of creating a more open floor plan.  The first floor was completely transformed by the installation of a modern kitchen and peninsula breakfast bar.  The project included a Sonos 3 zone in–wall sound system so the clients can enjoy their music library throughout the home, with easy and accessible I-pad/I-phone control. EMDB installed a large bay window in the new dining area to bring the beautiful backyard and children’s play area into the living space.  The additional space and light transformed the first floor into a new living experience for the homeowners.  This feature ended up being the clients and EMDB’s favorite and most transformative design decision.
